My Legal Study – The Moment Always Keeps Me Pushing To The End
Every Wednesday night, I would travel from my office to the law school to attend the tutorials. It sounds like a commitment after a 9-5 routine, but I enjoy it very much.
The tutor would prepare a few mock cases, and classmates at the same table would have to develop legal arguments. I enjoy the moments when everyone has different opinions on the application of the law to the same legal dispute. Especially in corporate law, we sometimes argued about whether it was a counteroffer or just a mere request for further information. I have to say, I enjoyed and loved it. No one took it personally, but I have to say, everyone had a good time.
You Won’t Have A Life You If Do It This Way
At the end of the Pre-Law program, the tutor shared his experience of studying law. I personally believe he was a mature student as well, and he used to work full-time while studying full-time.
I have never done that before; however, I think it is doable. In my opinion, if somebody else could do it, I would say I might as well have a go.
He did mention that, if you choose this pathway, you won’t have a life. You probably have to say no to a lot of invitations; he did say he missed a lot of family commitments. Not sure if it is a healthy way of living, but I guess no pain no gain.
Overall, I saw his success, and at least he did not regret choosing that pathway.
Goodnight Developers – While The World Sleeps, I dream
Later in 2025, my friend and I started developing software for a sports club.
I was quite nervous at the beginning, as I had never done a project from paper to a product. I was acting in roles like Business Analyst, Developer, Tester, and even Project Manager.
After work, sitting behind a screen at night. Struggling, frustration, of course, with satisfaction. I don’t even recall how many times I had to delete the code and start over.
That day, after the demonstration, the club committee decided to onboard our solution. That moment, that moment, I shall never forget it the rest of my life.
Last week, one member of the club committee emailed me, saying our software literally saved her a significant amount of her working time. What a compliment.
I came across Apple’s Developer – Goodnight Developers. I felt every moment in the video: the developers in the scene, excitement, fatigue, frustration, and relief. I experienced every one of them.
I want to say to every software developer in the world, Good Night, Developer.
Books Changed me
During my Pre-Law program, I realised that procrastination is my enemy, big time. One day after work, I stop by a bookshop near my office, I picked up two books
- GTD – Get Things Done by David Allen

- How to Take Smart Note by Soken Ahrens

Guys, read these two books – I have to say, you are not wasting your time if you decide to read these books and apply the methods introduced in these books.
Good Luck to you, and Good luck to me.
